But friends of Lac des Iles came – as old documents confirm – already before 1965 together and spent time for picnics around the lake and fished its clear and deep waters.

Today Lac des Iles provides still drinking water quality thanks to the founding members of the Association like Norman Kanemy and others and their rigorous water management for the last decades.
