Come at the right time and be quiet.
Then you can understand, why all
these beautiful birds prefer a still peaceful lake like ours.
But be quiet, otherwise, the magic
will be gone.

HERONS,
MERGANSER
AND MANY OTHERS
NEST HERE
The following waterfowls are at home at Lac des Îles or come seasonally.
The dark blue line marks the nesting time, and the light blue one the feeding period
on the Lake. (Table must be revised!)
A green line marks stopovers from migratory birds.
Depending on weather conditions, nesting and feeding periods may vary a week or so.
